There has been design of Lokori water system, rehabilitation of 20 boreholes and promotion of sanitation in Kakwang and upgrade of WASH projects in 14 schools since 2021 up to date.

There is umbrella manger water system, Karamoja water system in Kapedo and Karenga town council. However Kidepo town council does not have because it is not well established yet ministry of Water gave priority to those sub counties which were turned into town-councils. Sangar sub-county also has water systems but one is non-functional yet the other in Lokiel primary school is functioning.
